Having moved to Phillip Island in 1990, The Blue Penguin Gallery was established in 2002 by Rafael Gurvich & Jennifer Plunkett.
We had previously shared a studio & custom framing business in Melbourne .
The gallery provides a venue in which to show an extensive range of our paintings & works on paper produced over the past 30 years, as well as acting as an exhibition space for our current work.

ur gallery also offers a custom framing service which draws on 30 years of professional experience. We specialise in conservation techniques using acid free and U.V. resistant materials. Quality timber mouldings are hand finished with a selection of gold and silver leaf mouldings available. We also offer a stretching service for paintings on canvas. No job is too small - or too big.
